Happy Friday🤟🏻 I’ve been busy the last couple months working on my first album. As always, it’s been a process and a journey trusting that process, but I truly can’t wait till these songs are ready to be released. Too early to tell when that may be at the moment but I will keep ya posted✌🏻 #jonzornmusic

I’ve always been fascinated with other artists process of composing a song from absolute start to finish. It’s something I struggle with trusting and accepting that it may turn out way better than expected, or it’ll never catch the magic I hoped for, and both are okay. Here’s an older original track ‘Speedtrain’ which I didn’t think had potential until the layers were added. This is only still a short version of what a typical track goes through, but I hope you dig it ✌🏻 1st slide- Before it even hits paper fumbling to find lyrics 2nd slide- Trying to find the hook or chorus and flow of my words/vocals 3rd slide- Scratch track to send to other musicians 4th slide- Drums and bass added 5th slide- Layers added with piano and female vocals 6th Slide- Thousands of dollars spend to lease on Spotify for people to listen 🙌🏻 #jonzornmusic

Last weekend was so fulfilling musically to be able to share the stories behind the music I write and perform it with musicians who I can also call good friends. Thank you to @manormillmonkton for Friday night for providing an intimate, yet comfortable space for sharing music. To @puhtok_in_the_pines for putting on for a great fun vibes festival which @westernrunband is honored to be apart of.
